2016 Blanc De Blanc Brut Zero

The 2016 Brut Zero, Blanc de Blancs is sourced from the Valley Foothills vineyard in the deep, cool end of Anderson Valley, Mendocino. The 30 year old block of Wente clone Chardonnay is dry farmed and low yielding. Gorgeous aromas of rising bread dough lead to crisp, green apple, pear, and lemon custard on the finish. No additional sugar(dosage) was added in order to show off the concentration and finesse of these amazing sparkler. Aged 6 years “sur lie”, this wine will age effortlessly for two decades or more, gaining complexity and interest.
